Welcome to Will Greenwoods Muzick Page!
Will Greenwood is an eclectic musician/magician based in Glastonbury. In his 30 year relationship with music, Will has played guitar, bass, drums, keyboards & synthesizers in, or with many important bands, such as;
Changes with Tanjy Wilson (2000)
Half a Dozen of the Other (2001)
Gravity - Indivisible (2002)
Theta* - Peace by Piece (2002)
Lament of a Space Pirate (2004)
Will has also held the post of musical director with the Glastonbury Town Players and Gothic Relief Theatre Macabre since 1997, staging 7 major Pantomime productions as well as regular seasonal events at the Assembly Rooms in Glastonbury.
The Panto 'band' regularly contains up to 13 people, including a brass section and a 5 piece choir, often performing flawless parodies of classic 'northern soul' tunes, interspersed with themes borrowed from Frank Zappa and Todd Rundgren, to name but 2 influences.
Currently, Will is assisting in the rejuvenation of the Assembly Rooms and working on a new set of original songs, with Tim Hall and Greg Willow, as Invisible Opera, and preparing music for the G.T.P.'s halloween show and next February's production of Dick Wit!
Will is also an artist, woodcarver and amateur astronomer, studying towards a degree with the Open University.
